Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt Dry yeast
  • 3 Tbsp. Hot water
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Warm water
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 4 c. Flour

Direcciones

  1. Combine yeast & hot water in small bowl & set aside. Combine shortening & warm water in bowl & set aside till lukewarm. Beat Large eggs & sugar together till blended & add in shortening mix. After blending, add in yeast mix & beat in 2 c. of the flour. Gradually add in 2 more c. flour (this may be whole wheat if you like). After complete blending, place bowl in refrigerator several hrs or possibly overnight. Three hrs before baking, roll cool dough into 2 rounds, 1/4-inch thick. Spread with soft butter. Cut in pie-shaped wedges & roll, starting with larger end. Let rise on greased cookie sheets & bake in 375-400 oven for 8 min or possibly golden.
