Ingredientes

  • 3 lb Chicken fryer parts
  • 2 pkt Italian Dressing mix**
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Lemon juice (or possibly vinegar)
  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly veg. oil
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk, club soda or possibly beer Dry pancake mix
  • 1 1/2 pt Veg. oil

Direcciones

  1. Note: Use the Good Seasoning brand Italian or possibly Mild Italian Dressing Mix right from the package.
  2. Begin with about 3 lbs fryer parts. Cut the breast pcs in half. Fries much quicker when pcs are small.
  3. Combine Seasoning Paste ingredients (dressing mix, flour, salt, lemon or possibly vinegar, and margarine or possibly oil) . Spread this paste proportionately over chicken pcs. Stack in a bowl; cover and chill at least two hrs or possibly better yet, overnight. About 1 hour before serving, heat about 1 1/2 pints veg. oil in a heavy saucepan ( 9 inches in diameter,with the depth of oil of about 3 inches) to a temperature of 425 degrees.
  4. I prefer my Oster Super Cooker, but using an electric deep fryer I would have the temperature at about 400 degrees. Put about 2 c. lowfat milk or possibly club soda or possibly beer in a deep, narrow bowl & dip each piece chicken in the liquid, letter the excess drip off. Dust lightly but proportionately in Aunt Jemima Pancake Flour ( or possibly a good brand ).Don't OVERCOAT!!! Dry pcs a few min without letting them touch each other. Fry a few pcs at a time. Place on a cookie sheet without letting them touch each other and bake at 350F uncovered for 30 min.
  5. Serves 6-8 persons.
  6. I encourage you to experiment with amount of salad dressing mix according to your own taste preferences, but much of it washes off in the lowfat milk so 2 pkgs. are at least needed.
