Fanny's Restaurant Bread Pudding

Ingredientes

  • 4 c. cubed whole wheat bread
  • 4 c. cubed white bread
  • 4 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 12 large eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Cinnamon to taste

Direcciones

  1. Turn cubed bread into 9 x 12 inch baking pan. In saucepan, scald lowfat milk and butter. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat together large eggs, sugar and vanilla. Slowly add in hot lowfat milk mix, blending thoroughly; pour over bread and sprinkle top with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees 40 min or possibly till liquid is set.Meanwhile, prepare sauce. Remove pudding from oven and serve drizzle with sauce and topped with whipped cream.
