%20So%20I%20called%20that%20one%20a%20few%20years%20in%20advance!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20there's%20one%20meal%20I%20should%20be%20making%20more%20often%20it's%20this%20bacon%20pierogie%20bake.%20It's%20just%20so%20stinkin'%20good.%20I%20typically%20make%20pierogies%20a%20couple%20times%20a%20month%20but%20I%20usually%20just%20toast%20them%20up%20with%20some%20butter%20and%20toss%20them%20with%20parmesan%20cheese,%20so%20this%20is%20a%20nice%20treat%20and%20adds%20some%20variety%20to%20the%20menu.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20students%20earned%20a%20celebration%20this%20past%20week%20for%20meeting%20an%20academic%20goal%20I%20had%20set%20for%20them%20and%20they%20decided%20they%20wanted%20a%20%22preschool%20day%22%20so%20we%20painted%20pictures%20and%20ate%20cookies%20and%20juice.%20Clearly%20my%20fifth%20graders%20have%20some%20childhood%20dreams%20they%20want%20to%20live%20out!%20I%20made%20these%20sprinkle%20cookies%20for%20my%20one%20student%20who%20has%20a%20chocolate%20allergy.%20Delicious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20posted%20this%20recipe%20for%20chicken%20parmesan%20pasta%20this%20past%20month%20and%20I've%20already%20remade%20it.%20It's%20just%20so%20easy!%20And%20so%20good.%20Easy+good+ingredients%20on%20hand=dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20a%20huge%20fan%20of%20spicy%20tomato%20sauces%20and%20tend%20to%20throw%20a%20healthy%20shake%20of%20red%20pepper%20flakes%20in%20any%20sauce%20I%20make,%20but%20this%20arrabbiata%20sauce%20is%20just%20perfection.%20It%20has%20a%20depth%20of%20flavor%20that%20really%20is%20remarkable.%20I%20used%20it%20for%20my%20crockpot%20lasagna%20and%20it%20was%20just%20wonderful.%20It%20definitely%20has%20a%20kick%20and%20I%20was%20worried%20Landon%20wouldn't%20eat%20it%20but%20when%20I%20was%20having%20some%20with%20just%20some%20pasta%20for%20lunch%20one%20day%20he%20kept%20stealing%20my%20noodles%20instead%20of%20his%20less%20spicy%20variety.%20That's%20my%20boy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20pretty%20sure%20I%20posed%20this%20BBQ%20chicken%20pizza%20in%20another%20recap%20post%20but%20since%20it's%20my%20favorite%20pizza%20it%20made%20the%20cut%20and%20was%20on%20the%20menu%20again!%20Over%20time%20this%20has%20adapted%20and%20I%20use%20cheddar%20instead%20of%20the%20gruyere.%20I%20know%20it%20might%20sound%20strange%20but%20try%20it.%20Oh%20it's%20good!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20are%20few%20meals%20I%20love%20as%20much%20as%20this%20chicken%20marsala%20casserole.%20Over%20time%20I've%20changed%20it%20a%20bit%20and%20I%20now%20use%20about%202/3%20cup%20marsala%20wine%20and%201/3%20cup%20light%20cream%20instead%20of%201/2%20of%20each%20in%20order%20to%20enhance%20the%20marsala%20flavor.%20Even%20Landon%20loved%20this%20so%20hooray%20for%20that!%20Total%20winner%20in%20this%20house.%20And%20best%20of%20all%20I%20usually%20have%20all%20the%20ingredients%20on%20hand%20so%20it's%20an%20easy%20meal%20for%20when%20I%20don't%20know%20what%20to%20make.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
