,%20and%20just%20becoming%20a%20full%20fledged%20person.%20It's%20amazing.%20John%20and%20I%20were%20able%20to%20get%20out%20this%20month%20and%20go%20out%20to%20dinner.%20We%20try%20to%20get%20out%20alone%20at%20least%20once%20a%20month,%20sometimes%20we%20get%20out%20twice,%20sometimes%20not%20at%20all.%20None%20the%20less%20it%20was%20nice%20to%20get%20out.%20Overall,%20February%20was%20a%20good%20month%20in%20the%20Stephanie%20Cooks%20household!%20It%20was%20also%20a%20yummy%20month,%20we%20had%20some%20great%20meals,%20both%20new%20and%20repeated.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20our%2034093403%20snow%20days%20I%20decided%20to%20bake%20cookies%20and%20went%20with%20krispie%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies.%20I%20am%20pretty%20sure%20I%20ate%2080%25%20of%20this%20batch%20of%20cookies.%20Oh%20man...%20I%20forgot%20how%20good%20they%20are.%20Too%20good%20really%20because%20I%20can't%20be%20trusted%20with%20them.%20Therefore%20I%20won't%20be%20making%20them%20again%20soon...%20they're%20just%20too%20good!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20remade%20a%20favorite%20stir%20fry%20of%20mine,%20chicken%20sriracha%20stir%20fry.%20It's%20so%20totally%20delicious.%20I%20didn't%20marinade%20it%20this%20time%20and%20I%20didn't%20have%20fish%20sauce%20so%20I%20used%20some%20teriyaki%20and%20it%20was%20still%20amazingly%20good.%20I%20like%20the%20green%20beans%20and%20bell%20peppers%20in%20the%20stir%20fry-%20it%20reminds%20me%20of%20Thai%20food!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20Valentines%20Day%20I%20hosted%20a%20little%20party%20for%20Landon's%20friends.%20I%20made%20some%20spinach%20dip,%20like%20usual.%20It%20all%20went%20so%20I%20guess%20it%20was%20a%20hit.%20I%20never,%20ever,%20ever%20get%20sick%20of%20this%20dip.%20I%20still%20use%20only%20sour%20cream%20and%20I%20got%20more%20compliments%20than%20usual.%20I%20don't%20think%20I'll%20ever%20add%20the%20mayo%20again.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20minute%20lasagna%20is%20so%20easy%20that%20I%20find%20myself%20often%20adding%20it%20to%20the%20menu.%20This%20time%20I%20used%20fresh%20ravioli%20from%20our%20local%20Italian%20deli,%20and%20YUM!%20Fresh%20ravioli%20took%20it%20to%20another%20level.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJohn%20requested%20something%20with%20mushrooms%20this%20month%20and%20OF%20COURSE%20my%20mind%20went%20to%20chicken%20marsala%20casserole.%20Over%20time%20this%20has%20become%20a%20real%20favorite%20of%20mine.%20Landon%20isn't%20huge%20on%20his%20foods%20all%20mixing%20so%20I%20separated%20his%20serving%20into%20a%20pile%20of%20chicken,%20mushrooms,%20and%20rice.%20He%20took%20a%20couple%20bites%20then%20goes,%20%22Mama,%20you%20make%20good%20rice.%20I%20want%20yogurt.%22%20Haha...%20well,%20so%20much%20for%20my%20good%20rice.%20I%20was%20happy%20to%20snag%20a%20few%20bites%20from%20his%20plate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJohn%20also%20requested%20something%20with%20beef.%20Since%20I%20rarely%20make%20beef%20I%20decided%20to%20remake%20my%20sweet%20onion%20pot%20roast.%20As%20someone%20who%20doesn't%20even%20love%20beef%20I%20have%20to%20say%20this%20is%20good%20stuff.%20I%20had%20planned%20to%20just%20eat%20some%20egg%20noodles%20and%20carrots%20but%20I%20tasted%20the%20meat%20and%20ended%20up%20eating%20a%20small%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20trying%20to%20use%20up%20a%20box%20of%20Rice%20Krispie's%20so%20I%20made%20another%20batch%20of%20microwave%20chewy%20granola%20bars.%20John%20loves%20these%20things.%20Landon%20loves%20to%20pick%20off%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%20Overall%20they%20are%20a%20hit%20around%20here!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EReally,%20would%20it%20be%20a%20recap%20without%20BBQ%20chicken%20pizza?%20No...%20no%20it%20wouldn't.%20I%20can't%20help%20it.%20I%20just%20love%20this%20darn%20pizza.%20After%20writing%20about%20it%20monthly%20there's%20nothing%20to%20say.%20I%20just%20love%20it%20and%20need%20it%20often!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20firecracker%20chicken%20and%20broccoli%20for%20the%20first%20time%20about%20a%20month%20ago%20and%20have%20been%20thinking%20of%20it%20ever%20since.%20I%20really%20love%20the%20flavors%20and%20best%20of%20all%20I%20always%20have%20the%20ingredients%20on%20hand.%20This%20time%20I%20used%20a%20smaller%20baking%20dish%20and%20it%20didn't%20work%20as%20well-%20the%20sauce%20didn't%20thicken%20as%20nicely.%20It%20was%20still%20delicious%20but%20next%20time%20I'll%20stick%20to%20the%209x13%20dish!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMonthly%20John%20has%20some%20guys%20over%20and%20we%20usually%20order%20pizzas.%20I%20decided%20to%20save%20the%20money%20this%20time%20and%20just%20make%20garlic%20bread%20stromboli.%20I%20made%20one%20chicken%20parmesan%20one%20and%20one%20plain.%20I%20didn't%20use%20as%20much%20butter%20and%20I'll%20tell%20you...%20I%20shouldn't%20have%20skimped.%20Never%20skimp%20on%20butter.%20Lesson%20learned.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20but%20not%20least%20I%20made%20a%20batch%20of%20cake%20batter%20cookies%20for%20Landon's%20teachers%20for%20Valentines%20Day.%20I%20used%20Valentines%20M&Ms%20instead%20of%20chocolate%20chips%20and%20they%20were%20quite%20delicious.%20Landon%20was%20helping%20me%20stir%20and%20he%20knocked%20a%20good%201/8%20of%20a%20cup%20of%20the%20cake%20mix%20on%20the%20floor%20so%20I%20was%20worried%20it%20wouldn't%20be%20ok,%20but%20really%20it%20had%20no%20effect.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELooking%20forward%20to%20March-%20warm%20days%20are%20hopefully%20around%20the%20corner!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
