Ingredientes

  • 450 gm fennel bulbs
  • 50 gm butter
  • 50 gm freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C/400 degrees F/gas mark 6.
  2. Cut the fennel bulbs in half.
  3. Drop them into boiling water and simmer for 56 min till slightly translucent/soft.
  4. Drain and place in an ovenproof dish cut edges up.
  5. Dot with butter season and top with the grated cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 20 min till golden brown basting once with the buttery juices.
  7. Serves 2
