Receta Feta Tart

Feta Tart

This Feta tart is fabulous! I love recipes that have simple ingredients but taste so good. It kind of reminds me of a pizza but not really. The feta makes it a bit salty which you are not expecting.

This tart you should eat right away. I don’t like it after it has cooled and has been sitting. It doesn’t reheat well either. So if you make this, make it for a big crowd or cut the recipe in half.

This Tart is of Greek origin and no wonder, leave it to the Greeks to take the most simple and humble of food and make them delicious!

Feta Tart

Ingredients:

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 500 degrees. Put a 18x13x1 rimmed baking sheet into the oven for 10 minutes.

Whisk the 2 tablespoons oil, vodka egg and water in a medium bowl. Set aside. In a large bowl combine flour, salt and baking powder. Pour wet mixture over dry mixture and whisk until smooth.

Brush the remaining 4 tablespoons of olive oil in the bottom of the hot baking sheet. Sprinkle the feta over the batter evenly and dot with butter.

Bake until golden brown about 20 minutes.

Peace be with you,

Vonnie
