- Cut the ham into 1/4 inch-wide strips and set aside.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil; add in the fettuccine and cook according to package directions. Drain well.
- Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add in the garlic and cook 1 minute. Add in the ham and tomato. Season the mix with salt and pepper. Simmer the mix, uncovered, about 5 min.
- Stir in the peas and pesto and cook about 2 min.
- Add in the liquid removed fettuccine and toss to coat. Sprinkle with the cheese and serve.
