Ingredientes

  • 6 ounce Plain flour
  • 4 ounce Oatmeal
  • 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
  • 3/4 tsp Cream of tartar pn Salt pn Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter Freshly soured lowfat milk *Or possibly* . buttermilk, as required

Direcciones

  1. Sift the dry ingredients and rub in the butter. Make into a dough using sufficient lowfat milk. Turn on to a floured board and knead lightly.
  2. Roll into a round, cut into four and cook on a warm girdle or possibly bake in a warm oven.** Scottish Home Baking**
