Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped shallot
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 8 ounce ripe Mission figs
  • 2 tsp minced fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 tsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl, combine vinegar, shallot, and salt. Let stand 10 min.
  2. Rinse figs; pat dry and trim off and throw away stem ends. Cut figs into 1/2-inch chunks; add in to vinegar mix. Stir in mint and rosemary, breaking figs up slightly with spoon.
  3. This recipe yields about 1 c..
  4. Comments: Use soft-ripe figs for the relish, that is also good with crackers or possibly toasted baguette slices as an appetizer or possibly alongside roast chicken.
  5. Yield: 1 c.
