Ingredientes

  • 6 ounce cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. confectioner's sugar
  • 12 x strawberries Sliced almonds toasted

Direcciones

  1. Whip cream cheese on medium speed of a mixer for 2 to 3 min till slightly fluffy. Add in vanilla extract and confectioner's sugar. Trim bottom of strawberries so each stands upright. Use a melon-baller to scoop out stems and tops.
  2. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a 1/2-inch star tip with cream cheese mix; pipe into strawberries till cream cheese brims over the top. Top berries with toasted almonds (toast almonds in a 350 degree oven for 3 to 6 min). This dessert is perfect to serve at a buffet.
  3. This recipe yields 12 filled strawberries.
  4. Yield: 1 dozen
