Receta Finnish Almond Brittle

- To one half Basic Dough, fold in 1 tsp. almond extract. Cover; refrigerateat least 2 hrs.
- Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured cloth-covered board. Cut into strips, 2 1/2x3/4 inch. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 10 to 12 min or possibly till very light brown. Cold. Frost with Holiday Frosting: Blend 2 c. confectioners' sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk and few drops food color. Sprinkle with 1/3 c. finely minced blanched almonds.
- Makes about 4 dozen.
