%20Adam%20and%20Alex%20take%20pride%20in%20what%20they%20can%20grow,%20how%20much%20they%20can%20grow%20and%20then%20look%20to%20me%20to%20use%20all%20of%20their%20harvest!%20This%20year%20however,%20we%20aren't%20sure%20how%20well%20anything%20is%20going%20to%20grow%20because%20of%20the%20serious%20drought%20we%20here%20in%20Indiana,%20like%20so%20many%20across%20the%20nation,%20have%20been%20contending%20with%20for%20weeks%20now.%20For%20those%20of%20you%20who%20aren't%20experiencing%20it,%20I'll%20give%20you%20a%20little%20insight%20as%20to%20what%20our%20area%20looks%20like.%20Due%20to%20lack%20of%20rain,%20most%20%20yards%20are%20the%20color%20of%20straw,%20some%20of%20the%20trees'%20leaves%20are%20already%20starting%20to%20turn%20to%20fall%20colors,%20and%20since%20the%20beginning%20of%20May%20my%20husband%20has%20only%20mowed%20lawn%20once.%20The%20farmers%20in%20our%20area%20are%20really%20struggling%20and%20we%20are%20literally%20praying%20for%20rain%20every%20day.%20With%20these%20being%20the%20conditions%20we%20are%20dealing%20with,%20you%20can%20imagine%20our%20shock%20last%20week%20when%20Monkey%20and%20I%20were%20checking%20the%20garden%20to%20find%20we%20had%20some%20green%20onions%20ready%20to%20pick!%20Now%20the%20tops%20were%20a%20little%20brown,%20and%20they%20weren't%20as%20big%20as%20we%20normally%20would%20like,%20but%20they%20were%20there%20and%20we%20did%20not%20want%20to%20risk%20the%20chance%20of%20losing%20them,%20so%20we%20picked%20them.%20Alex%20was%20so%20excited:%20%22Mommy%20we%20grew%20these!!%22%20I%20knew%20it%20was%20the%20perfect%20time%20to%20try%20a%20new%20dip%20recipe%20I%20had%20saved%20for%20some%20time.%20Super%20simple%20and%20ready%20in%20no%20time,%20this%20is%20perfect%20to%20put%20out%20for%20those%20%22drop%20by%22%20guests%20that%20always%20seem%20to%20happen%20in%20the%20summer%20time!%20Chips,%20crackers,%20vegetables...it%20is%20perfect%20with%20all%20of%20them.%20I'm%20so%20happy,%20that%20no%20matter%20what%20the%20rain%20forecast%20hold,%20we%20can%20say%20our%20garden%20wasn't%20a%20total%20bust!%20The%20boys%20work%20so%20hard%20and%20deserve%20that%20sense%20of%20accomplishment.%20How%20is%20your%20garden%20fairing%20where%20you%20are?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20small%20bowl%20whisk%20sour%20cream,%20bouillon%20and%20Worcestershire.%20Add%20onions%20and%20mix%20well.%20Garnish%20w/%20extra%20onions.%20Chill%20until%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDips%20at%20Very%20Good%20Recipes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPin%20It%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
