Fish tacos

I'm not sure if taco is the correct term , but I eat these frequently and find them to be a quick, spicy and nutritious dinner.

  1. Chop the onion and pepper into bite size pieces.
  2. Chop the garlic into whatever size you like. Mine is usually "chunky"
  3. Cut the tuna into 1/4" thick X 1/2" wide slices
  4. Turn your burner to a low medium heat, add the oil and once its warm add the onions. Cook until translucent.
  5. Add the garlic stir together and cook for another couple of minutes.
  6. Add the pepper and cook for another 3-4 minutes
  7. At this point, I usually add some ground cumin and a little cayenne pepper to the sauteed vegetables. I find these really adds to the overall taste. You might think that it's too much. Both spices are added again.
  8. Now add the tuna, stir once in awhile until the fish is cooked . This shouldn't take more than a few minutes. There's no reason to overcook this.
  9. Now add more cumin and cayenne as well as about a teaspoon of salt. Stir
  10. Now add the Pepper sauce and stir together well. I sometimes will also add some salsa at this point if it seems dry.
  11. Remove from the heat, fill a tortilla, add cheese, and eat!
