Ingredientes

  • 2 c. nonfat lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. nonfat egg substitute (to equal 3 Large eggs)
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese five-spice pwdr
  • 1/4 x vanilla bean Clover honey for drizzling

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Combine the lowfat milk, egg substitute, sugar and five-spice pwdr in a bowl. Using the tip of a knife, scrape the seeds out of the vanilla bean into the custard mix.
  3. Divide the custard among 4 (8-oz) custard c.. Place the c. in a shallow baking pan and add in sufficient warm water to come halfway up the sides of the c..
  4. Bake till the custard is almost set but still jiggles slightly in the center, about 45 min. Remove the custard c. from the water bath, cold slightly, then drizzle the tops with a little honey. Serve hot.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
