Flaked Rice With Jaggery ( Gul Pohe )

Ingredientes

  • 600 gm flaked rice soaked for 15 min in water and liquid removed
  • 150 gm jaggery grated
  • 6 Tbsp. coconut grated if fresh or possibly desiccated
  • 1 tsp cardamom pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Mix all the ingredients with your hand kneading lightly to blend.
  2. You may need to sprinkle in a little water if the mix is too dry.
  3. There should be no liquid visible.
  4. Serve at room temperature.
  5. Commonly served for lunch. Use medium rice flakes as the fine ones would disintegrate.
  6. Serves 4
