Ingredientes

  • 10 Tbsp. Granulated Sugar
  • 5 tsp Water
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 3 x Egg Yolks
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon Rind, Finely Grated
  • 6 Tbsp. Granulated Sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. Lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. To prepare the caramelized c. heat sugar and water in a small skillet over medium-high heat, stirring constantly till the sugar is golden brown.
  2. Remove from heat and pour into 6 oven proof custard c..
  3. Beat Large eggs and egg yolks together lightly with a wire whisk. Add in lemon rind, sugar and lowfat milk. Pout into the caramelized custard c. and place in a pan of warm water. Cook on the top of the stove over medium heat 1-hour. Preheat oven to 350-F degrees. Continue to cook in the water-filled pan in the oven for 25-min or possibly till a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Remove from water and cold, then chill. To serve, loosen sides of custard with a knife and invert onto dessert dishes.
