Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
  • 3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt, divided
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 10 ounce pkg. frzn minced spinach, defrosted & liquid removed thoroughly
  • 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 T Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 3 T catsup

Direcciones

  1. Lightly, but thoroughly put together meat, crumbs, egg, 1 tsp salt and pepper. Put together spinach, 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, remaining salt and garlic pwdr.Place beef mix on wax paper and pat into a 14 x 10 inch rectangle. Spread spinach mix over beef to 3/4 inches from edge on the sides. Roll up from short end (jelly roll style) to enclose spinach filling. Press beef mix over ends to seal. (Remove wax paper.)
  2. Place loaf, seams down, on rack in roasting pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Spread catsup over loaf and continue baking 15 min longer. Slices beautifully.
