Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • healthy pinch salt
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. oil or possibly melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Direcciones

  1. In a medium bowl, put together dry ingredients. In a measuring cup, put together liquid ingredients.Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and mix to put together.
  2. Preheat skillet. When skillet is hot sufficient, a drop of water will "dance" and sizzle away.
  3. With a good non-stick skillet, you will not have to use cooking spray. If not, use cooking spray or possibly a small pat of butter.
  4. Pour a soup ladle full of batter into the skillet.
  5. Flip when the top has bubbles and a half inch of the edge looks dry.
  6. Cooks Note: Variation - For extra fluffy pancakes, separate the egg and whip the white till soft peaks form. Buttermilk may be also be used instead of lowfat milk - reduce baking pwdr to 1 1/2 tsp and 1/2 tsp soda. Add in 1/2 tsp vanilla, if you like.
  7. Makes about eight 8-inch pancakes.
