%20but%20today%20I%E2%80%99m%20sharing%20a%20brand%20new%20recipe%20that%20I%20modified%20from%20the%20Crock%20Pot%20Soups%20&%20Stews%20cookbook.%20I%20heartily%20recommend%20this%20cookbook%20for%20anyone%20that%20likes%20to%20use%20their%20crock%20pot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20son%20loves%20to%20make%20soup%20with%20me%20and%20he%E2%80%99s%20particularly%20proud%20of%20thinking%20up%20a%20secret%20ingredient%20to%20add.%20Sometimes%20we%20really%20need%20to%20keep%20this%20ingredient%20a%20secret%20(though%20it%E2%80%99s%20always%20added%20in%20small%20amounts%20so%20as%20not%20to%20really%20mess%20anything%20up.)%20However,%20his%20secret%20ingredient%20for%20this%20soup%20was%20actually%20a%20very%20nice%20touch%20%E2%80%93%20a%20few%20drops%20of%20hot%20sauce.%20Mmmmm.%20And%20yes%20%E2%80%93%20all%20three%20of%20my%20gang%20enjoyed%20this%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eit's%20just%20as%20good%20for%20lunch%20the%20next%20day!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Place%20all%20veggies%20and%20garlic%20in%20bottom%20of%20crock%20pot%20and%20mix%20together.%20Lay%20the%20chicken%20on%20top%20and%20pour%20the%20broth%20over%20everything.%20Add%20thyme.%20Cover%20&%20cook%20on%20high%204-5%20hours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Remove%20chicken%20to%20a%20cutting%20board%20and%20roughly%20chop%20into%20bite-size%20pieces.%20Return%20chicken%20to%20crock%20pot.%20Add%20egg%20noodles.%20Cover%20&%20cook%2020%20minutes%20%E2%80%93%20still%20on%20high.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Turn%20off%20the%20crock%20pot.%20About%2010%20minutes%20before%20serving,%20stir%20in%20half%20and%20half,%20parsley%20and%20about%20a%20tsp%20of%20salt%20&%20pepper.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
