Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 pch salt
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1 pt half-and-half (you can substitute heavy cream)
  • 1/2 c. cubed zucchini or possibly broccoli
  • 1 c. shredded crab meat
  • 1 pch salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1 pch cayenne pepper
  • 1 pch nutmeg

Direcciones

  1. For the Crust: Combine ingredients, mix with fork, and press into a large quiche pan. Don't roll; handle as little as possible.
  2. For the Filling: Combine Large eggs, half-and-half, and seasoning. Whisk for 1 minute. Put cheeses, vegetable, and crab into prepared shell. Pour liquid over filling.
  3. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min, then reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake for 45 min or possibly till a knife inserted comes out dry.
