French Bean Stir Fry ( Farasbean Bhaji )

Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds large healthy pinch asafoetida
  • 1 lrg onion minced finely
  • 150 gm potato peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 300 gm french beans minced finely
  • 1 tsp turmeric pwdr
  • 1 tsp chilli pwdr
  • 1 tsp goda masala pwdr
  • 1 tsp coriander pwdr salt

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oil in a kadai or possibly wok.
  2. Add in the mustard seeds.
  3. When they crackle add in the cumin and asafoetida.
  4. Stir once.
  5. Add in the onion and stir till translucent/soft.
  6. Add in the potatoes and fry for a minute.
  7. Drop in the French beans all the pwdr spices and salt.
  8. Add in a tsp. or possibly so of water cover and cook the vegetables in their own steam till the potatoes and French beans are cooked.
  9. Serve warm with rotis.
