French Bread

Don't mess with this a lot; mix it and cook it after it rises; Let it rise like 2-5 times just punch it down; take the air out. Cut into 2 loafs and put in pans and let rise to top of pan or more then cook!

I USE GOLD MEDAL FLOUR FOR A BETTER PRODUCT.
SAMS CLUB IS CHEAPEST!
I CUT WAX PAPER THE SIZE OF BOTTOM OF PAN IT MAKE IT COME OUT REALLY EASY!!
Makes 2 Loafs!!

Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 C. Warm water 160 deg or less
  • 2 Tbs. Yeast
  • 3 Tbs. Sugar
  • 2 Tbs. Vinegar
  • *******************
  • 1 Tbs. Salt
  • 1/3 C. Canola Oil
  • 6 to 7 C. Flour
  • *******************

Direcciones

  1. Mix top ingredients in your mixer bowl let stand till frothy;
  2. Add Salt and oil:
  3. Mix 1 cup of flour at a time till almost gone 5+ cups or semi sticky or elastic. Put on a floured base punch and shape into ball.
  4. Put into a oiled mixing bowl let stand on stove covered with towel. Punch down 2-5 times depends on how busy you want to be! But the more it rises the better.
  5. Then turn onto that floured base cut into two loafs and put into large bread tins. Let rise to top of tins or more.
  6. Cook at 375 for 30 min. When you take out butter top!!
