French Buttercream Icing

Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1 c. Cool butter
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Place sugar, flour and salt in a saucepan and mix thoroughly. Stir in lowfat milk.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till very thick. Remove from heat and pour into a mixing bowl. Cold to room temp. Add in half the butter - cut into pcs- and beat at medium speed till smooth. Add in rest of butter, beat well till smooth. Add in vanilla. Refrigeratefor a few min before using. Cake must be refrigerated till serving.
