Receta French Fry Hot Dish
French Fry Hot Dish ~ Classic hot dish piled with hamburger, corn, cheese and french fries for days when you need comfort food!
You know those days when all you want is Grandma’s cooking. Comfort food that is just needed some days.
Especially when fall comes and the mornings are crisp and the evenings turn to hooded sweatshirt weather. You know that comfy weather? I love it. I’m also currently begging for it. Holy hotness in Minnesota Batman.
Excessive heat warnings and it’s almost September. Yup. Fall you can come at anytime now. I’d welcome you with open arms and I’m pretty sure my hubby, who sweats his butt off during work everyday, is saying NOW.
This Hot Dish, yes not casserole, is passed down from my Grandma. It’s plain, it’s simple, but sometimes that’s the type of food you want. Oh and who else is from the Midwest and uses Hot Dish instead of Casserole? I’m always hesitant to name my recipes this, but this is Grandma’s recipe so I thought it was fitting!
Miss K gobbled this up, we happened to have the TV on and Wheel of Fortune was playing, she start clapping every time they clapped and it was just so fitting. You see Great Grandma’s favorite show was The Wheel and no one interrupted that show! I’m sure she was smiling down on Miss K.
Make sure you don’t miss any of the fun stuff Julie’s Eats & Treats is up too!
