Ingredientes

  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 T water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange peel
  • 4 c. finely minced apples
  • 1 c. walnuts or possibly pecans
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Grease a 10-inch tube pan. In large bowl, put together the sugar, oil, water, and egg whites.In a separate bowl, put together the flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Add in the dry ingredients to the liquid mix, and mix in the orange peel, apples, walnuts. The batter will be very thick. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 min.
  2. Put together brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the warm cake. Serves 18.
