Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced into 1-inch pcs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Finely minced onion
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounce.) chicken broth
  • 1/8 tsp Tarragon
  • 1/2 lb Asparagus, cut into 1-inch pcs
  • 1/4 c. Heavy or possibly whipping cream
  • 4 ounce Snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 c. Frzn baby peas
  • 1/4 tsp Grated lemon peel
  • 2 pkt (9 ounce. each) fresh fettuccine or possibly linguine cooked according to package directions
  • 2 Tbsp. Snipped fresh chives

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in large skillet over high heat. Add in chicken. Sprinkle with salt and cook, stirring, till golden brown, about 5 min. Transfer to plate.
  2. Add in onion to skillet and cook 3 min. Carefully add in chicken broth and tarragon and bring to boil. Add in asparagus and cook just till tender, about 3 to 5 min. Stir in heavy cream and return to boil.
  3. Add in snow peas, baby peas and chicken to sauce and cook 2 min more.
  4. Stir in lemon peel.
  5. Toss sauce with warm pasta in large serving bowl. Sprinkle with chives.
  6. Makes 6 servings.
  7. The garden-fresh flavor of this pasta sauce is enhanced by just a touch of tarragon and grated lemon peel.
