Ingredientes

  • 2 c. fresh tart plum halves
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. (1 cube) butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 tsp lemon extract or possibly 2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp fresh salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Arrange the halved and pitted fresh plums in the bottom of a greased baking pan (7x11 inches or possibly 9 inch square). Sprinkle with 1/4 c. sugar. In a bowl, cream together thoroughly the butter, lemon extract or possibly juice and 1 c. sugar. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each is added. Sift flour, measure and sift into the bowl with baking pwdr, salt and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Stir till well blended. Spoon batter over the plums. Sprinkle the top with sugar and cinnamon mix. Bake in a moderately warm 375 degree oven about 45 min or possibly till the cake pulls away from sides of pan. Serve hot or possibly cold, topped with lowfat sour cream or possibly whipped cream, if you wish.
  2. Makes 6 to 9servings. Rich and spicy.
