Ingredientes

  • 1 c. textured soy protein--TSP
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 1 x onion, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 16 ounce stewed tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 c. tomato sauce

Direcciones

  1. To rehydrate the TSP, place the TSP in a medium bowl and pour the boiling water over it; set aside. Cook the macaroni according to the package directions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the oil over low heat. Add in the onion and saute/fry till tender. Add in the TSP and stir-fry for about 3 min. Add in the cooked macaroni, the tomatoes, and the tomato sauce to the skillet; cover and heat everything thoroughly. Serve warm.
  3. Yield: 4 servings.
