Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Brussels sprouts cleaned
  • 3/4 c. Dry bread crumbs
  • 1 x Egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Extra virgin olive oil Salt to taste

Direcciones

  1. Cook sprouts till just tender in boiling salted water (10 to 15 min). Take care not to overcook; very tender sprouts may be done in less time. Drain, roll in bread crumbs, dip in beaten egg, and roll in bread crumbs again. Fry till brown in extra virgin olive oil heated to the verge of smoking. Drain on paper and serve.
