Fried Deviled Eggs

Ingredientes

  • 6 x hard-cooked Large eggs Salt and pepper to taste Vinegar to taste, about 1 teaspoon
  • 1 Tbsp. mayo
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 x egg, beaten Vegetable oil or possibly shortening

Direcciones

  1. Peel Large eggs and cut in half. Remove yolks, mash and season to taste with salt, pepper and vinegar. Add in sufficient mayo to make a thick paste. Put filling into egg white halves and level off. Dip egg into bread crumbs, then into the beaten egg and again in the crumbs. Heat oil or possibly shortening in skillet over medium-high heat. Add in Large eggs, yolk-side down and fry till browned. Turn and fry other side. Drain on paper towels and serve while warm.
  2. Yield: 6 servings
