Receta Fried Fish Amritsari ( Macchi Armritsari )

Ingredientes
- 8 piece cod (or possibly any hard white boneless fish)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ajowan seeds
- 1 tsp chilli pwdr
- 150 gm gram flour Large healthy pinch of bicarbonate of soda
- 4 dsh orange food colouring sunflower oil for frying salt
Direcciones
- Marinate the fish in the lemon juice for 15 min.
- Make a thick batter with all the other ingredients except the oil adding water as necessary ensuring which there are no lumps.
- Heat the oil in a deep kadai or possibly wok.
- Dip each piece of fish in the batter and deep fry till crisp.
- Drain on a slotted spoon and remove onto absorbent paper.
- Serve warm with coriander chutney and a fresh salad.
