Fried Fish Balls

Ingredientes

  • 3 lb Trout fillets cooked, flaked
  • 1/2 c. Finely minced onion
  • 1/2 c. Finely minced green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced fresh parsley
  • 1/4 c. Lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. Fine, dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 2 tsp Spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper Vegetable oil Cocktail sauce

Direcciones

  1. Combine first 11 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. (At this point, balls may be frzn: when ready to use, partially thaw and fry as directed below.)
  2. Fry croquettes in 2-inch deep warm oil (370) till golden. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with cocktail sauce.
  3. Yield: 5-1/2dozen.
  4. Note: This makes a delicious appetizer and may be made with any cooked fish.
