Ingredientes

  • 2 jar fresh oysters - (10 ounce ea)
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 x Large eggs beaten
  • 1 x onion julienned
  • 1/2 lb daikon julienned
  • 1 med carrot julienned
  • 1/2 lb beef rib eye thinly sliced
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 can vegetable broth - (14 1/2 ounce)
  • 1/4 lb watercress cut 3" lengths
  • 2 x green onions sliced diagonally

Direcciones

  1. Clean oysters in salted water; drain. In a skillet, heat the salad oil. Dredge oysters in flour and then in the beaten Large eggs; fry.
  2. Blanch onion, daikon, and carrot separately in boiling salted water.
  3. Season beef with 2 Tbsp. of the soy sauce, 1 tsp. of the sesame oil, 1 tsp. of the garlic, and 1/2 tsp. of the pepper; place in a skillet. Layer vegetables on beef.
  4. Combine broth with the remaining 2 Tbsp. soy sauce, the remaining tsp. sesame oil, the remaining tsp. garlic, and the pepper; pour over vegetables and beef.
  5. Cover and bring to a boil. Top with oysters, watercress, and green onions; cook just till heated.
  6. This recipe yields 6 servings.
