Ingredientes

  • 2 x plantains, medium size, ripe
  • 1 x whole nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. canola oil

Direcciones

  1. Peel plantain by scoring a line in the skin without penetrating the fruit and peel the skin sideways, not up and down. Cut into circles.
  2. Heat canola oil in a large skillet and panfry the plantain on both sides till golden. Takes about 5 min. While frying, season with salt and pepper; and grate fresh nutmeg onto both sides.
