Frozen Apple Yogurt (Motts)

Ingredientes

  • 1 env unflavored gelatin
  • 1 c. Apple Sauce
  • 1/2 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 3 c. Plain yogurt
  • 1/2 c. Golden brown raisins

Direcciones

  1. In medium saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over apple sauce. Stir to blend; let stand 2 to 3 min.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, Large eggs, cloves and nutmeg; mix well.
  3. Stir over low heat till gelatin is dissolved and mix thickens slightly. Remove from heat. Cold. Stir in yogurt.
  4. Pour into 8 or possibly 9-inch square pan. Cover; freeze till almost hard, about 1 to 3 hrs, stirring 2 or possibly 3 times.
  5. Spoon mix into chilled large bowl or possibly food processor bowl. Beat till light and fluffy but not thawed. Stir in raisins.
  6. Return to pan. Freeze till hard, about 1 to 3 hrs.
  7. VARIATION: Substitute cinnamon for cloves.
  8. Yields 1 qt.
