Ingredientes

  • 6 x egg yolks
  • 200 gm sugar (caster)
  • 250 ml lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1/2 c. brandy

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl, cream egg yolks and sugar together till pale in colour. Bring lowfat milk and vanilla to the boil and pour over egg yolks, a little at a time, whisking continuosly.
  2. Return to saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, till mix thickens slightly and will coat the back of a spoon. Don't ALLOW TO BOIL.
  3. Place cooked custard in electric mixer and whisk till cool. Gently mix in whipped cream and brandy. Pour into a loaf tin and freeze 2-3 hrs or possibly till hard.
