Frozen Coffee
I Love Coffee and I Love Iced or Frozen Coffee but both can be very expensive~ To save money, I decided to make my own and now I can have frozen coffee anytime:) This Frozen Coffee is Excellent!!! I am officially hooked:)
- 1- half gallon container Original Coffee, International Delight, Iced Coffee, Sweet and Creamy, Coffeehouse Drink
- 4 heaping Tablespoons, from a 10 oz package, Ground Espresso Coffee, specially roasted dark for espresso coffee
- 12 cups water
- 6- individual packages sugar or sugar substitute sweetener
- 5 quart clean ice cream pail
- Milk
Drink Mixer or Blender
Brew coffee in a regular coffee maker, using 4 T coffee and 12 cups water. When coffee is finished brewing, cool to room temperature.
In clean 5 quart ice cream pail, pour the half gallon International Delight Iced Coffee. Add the cold brewed coffee. Pour in the 6 packages of sweetener and stir. Place cover on pail and freeze. Freeze overnight or until mixture is frozen enough to scoop out.
To Serve: Using a large spoon, scoop out frozen coffee. Fill container of a drink mixer or blender with frozen coffee mixture, add a small amount of milk. Whip until desired consistency~ Enjoy
*Keep Coffee Mixture in freezer*Let Coffee Mixture stand at Room Temperature for 15 mins if necessary~
*To make an Alcoholic Version, add 2 or 4 Shots of Van Gogh Espresso Flavored Vodka~
