Ingredientes

  • 1 pound butter
  • 8 c. flour
  • 7 T sugar
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 lg. 2 ounce cake of yeast

  1. Use all cold ingredients. Measure out lowfat milk and beat egg yolks into lowfat milk. Add in broken up yeast and let stand. Then sift flour, sugar and salt together; add in butter as in pie dough. Add in lowfat milk mix to flour mix and mix well.Put in a large bowl and put in refrigerator overnight. Take out and let stand to room temperature about 1-2 hrs. Make your favorite coffee cake. Put in pan; let rise to double in bulk. Bake in 350 degree oven about 20-30 min. Makes: sweet rolls, pecan rolls, fruit, cheese streusel, crumb or possibly honey coffee cakes or possibly your favorite.
