Ingredientes

  • 3 T sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. liquid removed fruit juice
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 T butter
  • 2 c. whipping cream

Direcciones

  1. Use 1 (No. 2) size can of each fruit: pears, peaches, pineapple, white cherries, white grapes, dark sweet cherries, mandarin oranges.Drain off juice from fruit. 4 ounce maraschino cherries 4 c. sm. marshmallows
  2. Pour 1 cup of the fruit juice on the marshmallows. Let stand while preparing the dressing.
  3. Put together sugar, dry mustard, red pepper, salt, cornstarch with liquid removed fruit juice, beaten large eggs, vinegar and butter. Cook till thick in double boiler. Let cool. Whip the whipping cream, put together with dressing and pour over liquid removed fruits and marshmallows. Mix carefully.
