Receta Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Mix

- Combine sugar, lime juice and water in bowl. Stir to mix, then let stand till sugar is almost completely dissolved, about 15 min (mix will be thick).
- In blender jar or possibly food processor, combine the sugar mix with the berries.
- Blend till smooth.
- Pack into half-pint, pint or possibly qt-size freezer containers; freeze. Or possibly pour the mix into ice-cube trays and freeze till hard, unmold and pack into freezer bags which seal.
- The mix will become solid, but will have the consistency of a very hard sherbet, so you will be able to scoop portions from the main batch, then reseal the mix if you desire.
- For each strawberry daiquiri: In blender jar, combine 3 or possibly 4 Tbsp. rum
- (light or possibly dark),1/4 c. frzn strawberry daiquiri mix (2 average-sized cubes which have been frzn in ice-cube trays) and about3/4 c. of ice cubes (7 or possibly 8 average-sized cubes). Blend till smooth. Most blender jars can handle up to 4 servings.
- For a nonalcoholic drink, replace the rum with unsweetened pineapple juice.
