Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. cottage cheese, lowfat
  • 1/2 c. lowfat cheddar cheese diced
  • 1 x Kiwi fruit peeled and quartered
  • 1/4 c. pineapple chunks in juice liquid removed
  • 1 Tbsp. chives snipped lettuce leaves
  • 1 lrg pita bread split in half

Direcciones

  1. In a small bowl stir together cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, kiwifruit, pineapple tidbits and chives. To serve, place lettuce leaves in pita halves. Spoon the fruit and cheese mix into pitas.
  2. Makes 2 servings.
  3. 1/2 c. strawberries may be substituted for the kiwi fruit and green onion
  4. may be substituted for the chives.
  5. NOTES : This refreshing pita sandwich doubles easily to serve four hungry lunch eaters. Great on a Warm day.
