Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Flour,all-purpose
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 x Apples
  • 4 x Bananas
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 x Egg,beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine,melted Vegetable oil for deep-fryin
  • 4 x Pears
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 3/4 c. Water
  • 1/4 c. Bourbon
  • 4 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 3/4 tsp Lemon rind,grated

Direcciones

  1. Sift together flour, sugar and baking pwdr.
  2. Combine egg, water, butter and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients till just blended.
  3. In Dutch oven or possibly deep-fat fryer, heat 2 inches oil to 375'F.
  4. Core apples or possibly pears (don't pare); cut into eighths. Peel bananas and cut into eighths.
  5. Dip fruit slice in batter; drop into warm oil and fry till golden brown on both sides.
  6. Drain briefly on paper towels; serve warm with Lemon-bourbon Sauce.
  7. LEMON-BOURBON SAUCE***
  8. Combine sugar and cornstarch in small saucepan; stir in water.
  9. Cook, stirring constantly, till mix boils and thickens.
  10. Remove from heat; stir in butter untuil melted.
  11. Add in bourbon, lemon rind and juice; mix well.
  12. Serve hot or possibly cool.
