Fruit Pie

A graham cracker or vanilla wafer crust with bananas, pineapple, pecans, and maraschino cherries topped with whipped cream.

Ingredientes

  • One can crushed pineapple
  • 1 or 2 bananas
  • 1 pie crust of graham crackers or vanilla wafers
  • Pecan halves
  • Maraschino cherries cut in half
  • Cool Whip or whipped cream

Direcciones

  1. Line a vanilla wafer crust with sliced bananas
  2. Place pecan halves among the bananas to taste
  3. Slice about 1/2 - 3/4 cup maraschino cherries and place in the spaces among the pecans and bananas
  4. Open a can of crushed pineapple into a saucepan. Heat and thicken with corn starch until the consistency of pudding. Cool and pour into pie over the bananas.
  5. Place in refrigerator until set and top with whipped topping or whipped cream before serving.
