In a single serving you get all the required vitamins and essentials, the more colorful the fruit salad is the more better will its health benefits be. The custard fruit salad is the most simple yet heavenly delight and has the most votes. It is an easy way of feeding fussy and picky eaters. The custard mix tastes like melted ice-cream and so it goes in without any fuss. I have added more papayas here, as I had more papayas available and its one of my favorite fruit. The advantage of this fruit salad is, you can use any available seasonal fruits and any fruits of your choice. So simple and elegant but yummiest dessert, can be made in just minutes. Also there is no much cooking except for the preparation of sauce. You can increase or decrease the addition of custard sauce according to your wish and also the choice of fruits completely depends on your taste.
I did my schooling in a convent and every year we used to have mission sales at our school. We students had to run a stall like the one at fun fairs, sell something profitably and give the profit we have earned to the poor and needy, which the school will take care of. We would always plan well for the day and we had competitions among the classes so as to see which class earns better. Every one would individually work so hard for it and also parents would give full support to the kids. They would prepare something and give it to the kids, to be sold at the stalls. We had fun and someone benefited from it also, so it was a dual profit. So why am I narrating this story I know its far too away from the niche, now let me come to the point. The most predominantly found and most selling eatable at the fair will be fruits salads and particularly custard fruit salad. Almost every stall would sell this, but as we had competitions within classes we would always get the ones available in the stalls belonging to our class. Our breakfast or brunch was this fruit salad only and the day begins with this colorful salad. Now after years, whenever I make this custard fruit salad at home, I always recollect those beautiful days, cherish it as I eat every scoop of it. So it is another recipe that is so close to my heart and wanted to welcome 2013 with this simple dessert. Here now lets see how to make this simple delight.
