Fudge Brownie Sheet Cake

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Water
  • 4 Tbsp. Cocoa (Heaping)
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 6 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 4 Tbsp. Cocoa
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 lb Powdered sugar
  • 1 c. Nuts (pecans or possibly walnuts, as preferred)

Direcciones

  1. Combine butter, water and cocoat in 2-qt pan, heating to boiling, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, add this order: Sugar, salt and flour, mix well. Add in lowfat sour cream, soda and Large eggs, mix well. Pour into greased 15 x 11 x 1-1/2" pan (often referred to as a jelly roll pan). Bake for 22 min at 375F. Don't overbake, should be chewy!
  2. Meanwhile, prepare frosting. Remove cake from oven, spread frosting on cake while warm. Will serve a bunch of us!
  3. Brownie Frosting: Combine butter, lowfat milk and cocoa in pan, heat to boiling, stirring often till mix bubbles. It will be thick. Beat in sugar, vanilla and nuts, spread on warm cake.
