Ingredientes

  • 1 med Onion, chopped
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 stk margarine -or possibly-
  • 1/4 c. Oil
  • 2 1/2 c. White rice, cooked
  • 2 1/2 c. Black beans, cooked Salsa lizano or possibly other seasoning, to taste

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in a heavy frying pan, cook onion and garlic till soft. Add in beans and fry for 10 min. Add in more margarine or possibly oil, if needed. Add in rice, stil well and cook for five more min. Season with the warm sauce and serve.
  2. This is a staple of Costa Rican kitchens, usually served at breakfast with tortillas, hard cheese and scrambled Large eggs. May also be served as a side dish with any other meal.
