Drunkin' Weenies and Brandy Slush

If you are from Wisconsin, you are familiar with a Brandy Slush and you are definitely familiar with Drunkin' Weenies! Today's recipes use Brandy. If you are from Wisconsin you have also heard of a Brandy Old-Fashion. It is a Cocktail that your Grandparents and Parents drink. When you become of legal drinking age, you will probably have a Brandy Old-Fashion. It was the first alcoholic drink I ever drank...A Brandy Old Fashion Sweet, the stir stick was rock candy on a stir stick~ Yum~ Nothing like a Friday night Fish Fry and a Brandy Old-Fashion~

Now on to Drunkin' Weenies and a Slush~

I have to admit, I do love Drunkin' Weenies~

Mix together bbq sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, liquid smoke, hot sauce and Brandy. Add smokies. Cook on high 3-4 hrs, turn to low to keep warm.

I have to admit, nothing goes better with Drunkin' Weenies than a Slush~

Apricot Brandy Slush~

1- 12 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate

1-12 oz can frozen limeade concentrate

1- 12 oz can frozen orange juice concentrate

Apricot Brandy

Mix the lemonade, limeade, and orange juice concentrate with water as directed on the cans; fill 1 1/2 cans with apricot brandy and mix all together. Pour into a empty cleaned out 5 quart ice cream pail. Freeze. When ready to serve fill a tall glass 3/4 full with slush, (scoop slush out with an ice cream scoop), add lemon-lime soda or 50/50 to slush in the glass. Stir.

Brandy Old-Fashion~

In an Old-Fashion glass add one sugar cube, add 2-3 dashes of bitters, let sugar soak in the bitters, add 2 maraschino cherries and a thin slice of orange, muddle together, add ice cubes, 2 oz Brandy, add 7-up, stir, garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
