Receta Game Day Sloppy Mamas-Tomato Bowl
Game Day Sloppy Mamas-Tomato Bowl
Last weekend I was getting ready for the Red Pack/Red Gold Tomato Bowl and needed something to serve the troops while I was getting my recipe-thinking cap on. I came up with this recipe that is a spin on Sloppy Joes but oh, so much better using Red Pack tomatoes!! Serve these up on Game Day and your team is sure to win…
Sloppy Mommas

- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco

- 1 tablespoon mustard
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oil in a large skillet with high sides. Add the red pepper and garlic. Saute until tender, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the beef. Stir and cook about 8 minutes, until meat is no longer pink. Add tomato sauce, Red Pack tomatoes, tomato paste, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire, Tabasco, vinegar, sugar and mustard. Stir. Simmer until thickened about 10 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
