%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMonday%20was%20back%20to%20school%20here.%20%20Have%20been%20running%20trying%20to%20keep%20up%20with%20all%20that.%20%20Running%20trying%20to%20keep%20up%20with%20all%20the%20upgrades/changes%20going%20on%20at%20work.%20%20And%20I%20made%20a%20quick%20run%20out%20of%20town%20this%20past%20weekend.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20I%20used%20to%20run%20daily,%20running%20doesn't%20appeal%20to%20me%20anymore.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20super%20bad%20knees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20I'm%20just%20going%20to%20sit%20a%20while%20and%20combine%20several%20things%20this%20week.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20knees%20will%20thank%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20I%20first%20started%20looking%20through%20Jamie%20Oliver's%20Jamie%20at%20Home%20cookbook%20for%20IHCC,%20this%20recipe%20for%20Grilled%20Butterflied%20Monkfish%20with%20a%20Sweet%20Runner%20Bean%20Stew%20stood%20out.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%22Sweet%20Runner%20Bean%20Stew%22%20sounded%20and%20looked%20like%20something%20my%20great%20grandma%20would%20have%20made%20with%20fresh%20beans%20from%20great%20grandpa's%20garden.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20%22runner%20bean%22%20made%20me%20think%20of%20an%20old%20Creole%20song%20I%20like,%20written%20by%20B%C3%A9b%C3%A9%20Carri%C3%A8re.%20%20The%20song%20has%20no%20words,%20but%20according%20to%20one%20story%20it%20was%20inspired%20by%20a%20young%20B%C3%A9b%C3%A9%20Carriere%20watching%20his%20grandmother%20being%20chased%20by%20a%20snake.%20In%20an%20interview,%20Mr.%20Carri%C3%A8re%20says%20of%20the%20song,%20%22that%20was%20a%20fast%20piece,%20because%20a%20Blue%20Runner%20is%20a%20fast%20snake.%22%20(Tisserand,%20Michael.%20The%20Kingdom%20of%20Zydeco)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20planted%20my%20beans,%20squeezing%20in%20a%20crop%20between%20tomatoes%20and%20frost.%20%20So%20they%20aren't%20nearly%20ready.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20I%20was%20able%20to%20find%20some%20beautiful%20beans%20from%20a%20store%20that%20carries%20locally%20grown%20produce.%20%20Not%20runner%20beans,%20but%20I%20couldn't%20pass%20'em%20up.%20%20They%20looked%20so%20quaint%20packaged%20in%20a%20gallon%20ziploc%20bag.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENotes:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn't%20bother%20slicing%20the%20beans%20all%20skinny,%20skinny--just%20cooked%20them%20down%20longer.%20I%20skipped%20the%20fish%20part%20of%20the%20recipe%20(for%20now),%20so%20I%20can't%20comment%20on%20that.%20%20I%20can%20tell%20you%20that%20after%20reading,%20making,%20and%20tasting%20the%20recipe,%20runner%20bean%20stew%20is%20nothing%20like%20what%20my%20great%20grandmother%20would%20have%20made.%20%20But%20it%20was%20delicious.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20sauce%20was%20complex%20and%20flavorful--the%20tomatoes,%20garlic,%20rosemary,%20and%20anchovies%20all%20worked%20magic%20together.%20%20Even%20though%20there%20was%20no%20fish%20to%20sprinkle%20it%20on%20top%20of,%20I%20used%20the%20gremolata%20anyway%20(added%20a%20little%20bit%20of%20chopped%20raw%20garlic%20to%20it--that's%20how%20I've%20been%20schooled%20in%20gremolata).%20I%20love%20that%20stuff.%20%20It%20was%20the%20final%20touch%20that%20made%20me%20stop%20all%20this%20crazy%20running%20around.%20%20If%20only%20for%20meal%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrilled%20Butterflied%20Monkfish%20with%20a%20Sweet%20Runner%20Bean%20Stew%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFeed%20the%20runner%20beans%20through%20a%20bean%20cutter.%20If%20you%20don't%20have%20one,%20just%20run%20your%20peeler%20down%20each%20side%20of%20the%20bean%20to%20get%20rid%20of%20the%20stringy%20bits%20and%20then%20cut%20them%20into%201/2-inch%20pieces%20at%20an%20angle.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYour%20runner%20bean%20stew%20can%20be%20cooked%20in%20advance%20or%20started%20just%20before%20you%20cook%20the%20fish.%20Heat%20a%20large%20saucepan,%20big%20enough%20to%20hold%20all%20the%20ingredients,%20and%20add%202%20tablespoons%20of%20olive%20oil%20plus%20the%20oil%20from%20the%20jar%20of%20anchovies.%20Chop%204%20of%20the%20garlic%20cloves%20and%20fry%20them%20gently%20with%20the%20anchovies%20and%20dried%20chili%20until%20it%20all%20goes%20soft%20and%20the%20anchovies%20break%20down%20into%20a%20mush.%20Pour%20in%20the%20crushed%20tomatoes%20or%20tomato%20sauce%20and%20add%20the%20beans%20and%20the%20rosemary%20sprigs.%20Season%20and%20bring%20to%20the%20boil.%20Place%20a%20lid%20on%20the%20pan%20and%20simmer%20gently%20for%2012%20to%2015%20minutes,%20or%20until%20the%20beans%20are%20nicely%20cooked.%20If%20the%20sauce%20gets%20a%20little%20dry,%20add%20a%20splash%20of%20water%20and%20give%20the%20beans%20a%20stir.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELay%20the%20monkfish%20pieces%20on%20a%20chopping%20board%20and%20slice%20them%20horizontally%20almost%20in%20half,%20so%20they%20open%20out%20like%20a%20book.%20Try%20to%20get%20them%20so%20you%20have%20an%20even%20thickness%20on%20both%20sides.%20Score%20the%20fish%20lightly%20and%20put%20to%20one%20side.%20To%20make%20the%20gremolata,%20finely%20chop%20the%20remaining%20clove%20of%20garlic%20with%20a%20pinch%20of%20salt.%20Next,%20finely%20chop%20the%20parsley%20and%20finely%20grate%20the%20lemon%20zest.%20Mix%20these%20with%
